Carlos’ Favorite
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. of raw med-large shrimp
- ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 head chopped garlic
- 1 tsp. white pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 packets of Sazon Seasoning
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- juice of 1 lemon or ¼ cup of Real Lemon juice
- ¼ cup Red Hot Sauce
- 1 can beer
- ¼ cup chopped parsley
Directions
Peal and devein shrimp leaving tails on, make in 3 or 4 small batches.
In heated frying pan place 2 tbsp. EVOO and 1 tsp. chopped garlic. Saute for 2 minutes and add shrimp and dry ingredients. Turn shrimp when pink; add 1 tbsp Red Hot and one tsp. lemon juice.
Saute for 2 minutes add ¼ cup beer heat 2 more minutes, add parsley and remove from heat.
