Shrimp Mozambique

Carlos’ Favorite

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. of raw med-large shrimp
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 head chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp. white pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 packets of Sazon Seasoning
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • juice of 1 lemon or ¼ cup of Real Lemon juice
  • ¼ cup Red Hot Sauce
  • 1 can beer
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley

Directions

Peal and devein shrimp leaving tails on, make in 3 or 4 small batches.

In heated frying pan place 2 tbsp. EVOO and 1 tsp. chopped garlic. Saute for 2 minutes and add shrimp and dry ingredients. Turn shrimp when pink; add 1 tbsp Red Hot and one tsp. lemon juice.

Saute for 2 minutes add ¼ cup beer heat 2 more minutes, add parsley and remove from heat.
