Ingredients
- 1 large Cedar plank
- 1½ – 2 lbs. salmon fillet
- 6 tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 6 tbsp. brown sugar
- salt and fresh ground pepper
Directions
Soak the plank in salted water for 2 hours, then drain.
Rinse salmon under cold running water, pat dry with paper towel.
Season with salt and pepper and lay on plank. Spread top and sides with mustard and sprinkle with brown sugar.
Heat grill to medium-high. Place plank in center of the hot grate, away from direct heat.
Cover grill and cook approximately 20-30 minutes.
Serve salmon right on the plank.
