Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded cooked breast meat
- 1 medium size onion chopped
- 4 celery ribs, washed and chopped
- 1 cup of sliced carrots
- 4-6 cups chicken broth (can also use water)
- ½ box Orzo pasta
- ½ tsp. cumin
- ½ tsp. each garlic & onion powder
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions
- In a large sauce pan, add chicken stock and bring to a boil
- Add onion, carrots and celery and bring back to a boil
- Cook vegetables for 20 minutes, then add pasta and stir
- Continue cooking at a low boil for an additional 10 minutes
- Add dry spices and chicken then lower heat and continue cooking on
low for 10 more minutes - Taste and adjust seasoning for taste and serve
