Chocolate Cappuccino Cake with Coffee Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients

Cake

  • 1 Chocolate Cake mix
  • Eggs
  • Oil
  • 1/4 cup espresso or coffee syrup

Frosting

  • 1 bar cream cheese- (8 oz) softened
  • 1/2 cup butter- softened
  • 4 cups confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 cup espresso syrup

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 and prepare cake pans.

Make cake mix according to directions on box. While mixing add espresso or coffee syrup and mix well. Pour into cake pans and bake.

For frosting beat butter and cream cheese until well blended. Slowly add sugar 1/2 cup at a time. When well mixed, add coffee syrup and mix again.

Frost cake when cooled and top with dark chocolate shavings.
