Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef or Chicken
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • Seasoning mix

Taco Toppings

  • ½ cup of chopped onions
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • Chopped black olives
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • Sour cream & Salsa

Directions

  1. Brown 1 lb. of hamburger over medium heat in a large frying pan with ½ cup of chopped onion
  2. When the meat is cooked and onion translucent, drain off fat and return to heat
  3. Add 3 tablespoons of taco seasoning mix. Stir to coat meat and add ½ cup of water
  4. Stir and cook over low heat until the liquid has reduced and the sauce is thicker.

Traditional Tacos

Place Taco shells into oven for 10 minutes at bake 350. Serve warm with toppings.

Soft Tacos:

Use Wheat, Flour or Corn Tortillas.

Place desired amount into Tortilla warmer or onto a dinner plate.

Cover with damp paper towel and microwave on high for 1 minute.

Taco Salad

Place tortilla chips into bowls and crush into smaller pieces. Place meat and other toppings on top and enjoy.
